Echorove Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Echorove (镜聊, the "App"), published by Appeon Inc. ("Appeon", "we" or "us").

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By using the App, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you meet the age requirements of applicable law, your app store and your selected AI service.

2. Scope of Services

The App provides AI conversations, group discussions, text-based practice, interactive stories and writing tools. All AI participants are simulated roles.

AI features require a compatible third-party service configured by you. Availability depends on the App version, your device and that service. The App does not provide hosted AI models or model credits.

3. Third-Party AI Services and Fees

You select the AI service and models and provide an authorized API key. Review the provider's terms and privacy policy, protect your key and manage permissions and spending limits. Data processing, billing and refunds are governed by your agreement with the provider; support for a connection is not an endorsement or guarantee.

The current App has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Third-party AI fees are charged separately under the provider's terms. One operation may involve multiple requests; stopping generation, network errors or an unsuccessful result may not prevent charges for submitted requests. Address billing and refund questions to the provider.

4. Acceptable Use

Use the App lawfully and ensure you have the necessary rights to content you submit, use or share. You must not:

• Create or distribute unlawful content, facilitate fraud, harassment or violence, or sexually exploit or abuse minors.
• Infringe others' rights, including intellectual property and privacy, or deceptively impersonate others.
• Use unauthorized credentials, disrupt the App or third-party services, or circumvent security or access controls.

You may report inappropriate content through the reporting option in the App. A successful submission confirms receipt only; it does not mean the content has been reviewed or handled.

5. AI Content and Limitations

AI content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or inappropriate. Review it before use or sharing; do not present simulated dialogue as a real person's statement or endorsement.

Practice, feedback and creative content are for reference, practice and creative exploration. They are not professional assessments or medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and do not guarantee real-world outcomes. The App is not an emergency service.

6. Intellectual Property

Rights in the App and related materials belong to Appeon or the relevant rights holders. Unauthorized copying, distribution or modification is prohibited, except as permitted by law or applicable licenses. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

You retain your rights in submitted content; these Terms do not authorize us to publish your private conversations or drafts. Rights in AI content depend on applicable law and the provider's terms. We do not guarantee originality, copyright protection or freedom from third-party rights. Verify the necessary permissions before publication or commercial use.

7. Data Management and Privacy

Records are stored on your device without App cloud synchronization. Export important content before deleting data, replacing your device or uninstalling; Appeon has no server backup of your local records to restore.

Local deletion does not erase provider records, backups or shared copies. Removing a connection does not revoke its API key.

If you choose to report content, the selected content and report details are sent to our reporting service and stored on our server. Clearing local data or uninstalling the App does not delete submitted reports. For questions or requests about report data, contact the support email below. 8. Service Changes and Discontinuation

We may adjust or discontinue the App or individual features for product, technical, legal or operational reasons, with notice where required by law. Third-party service changes may also affect availability. You may stop using the App at any time.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with every device or third-party service.

Each party remains responsible for its conduct under applicable law. These Terms do not exclude or limit consumer rights, statutory guarantees or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your country or region. You may contact us about a dispute or seek resolution before a court with competent jurisdiction.

11. Amendments and Severability

We may revise these Terms and update the date above, providing notice and obtaining consent where required by law. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
